Welcome to the Florida Primary School Website! This site contains information that will be helpful to you in becoming fully involved in school life. Not only does it contain information regarding academic and extra-curricular events, but it also provides you with a clear set of guidelines pertaining to attendance, discipline, evaluation and general development. For the most part, such policies and procedures have been developed co-operatively with all the stakeholders. Please bear in mind that as a learner of Florida Primary School, the learner has a responsibility to ensure that his/her behavior is exemplary at all times.

Our aim, at this school, is to provide a child with a sound education and an environment in which he/she will be happy and feel secure.

As education today involves more than just reading, writing and arithmetic, we shall endeavor to become well acquainted with your circumstances to enable us to cater for your child’s particular needs and requirements.

Please never allow your child to become the object of a tug-of-war battle between the home and the school, as this will complicate our task and undoubtedly result in a most unhappy child.

Should you, at any time, be concerned about your child’s progress or disposition, please do not hesitate to enter into an openhearted discussion with the Principal or class educator once an appointment has been arranged so that together we may endeavour to solve the problem.
